It's hard to believe, but 1.2 million children in Canada live below the poverty line. Shoe apparel and accessory company Brooks is helping to break this cycle; they're teaming up with Running Room Canada to donate one pair of children's shoes to Kidsfest Running and Reading Club - an after school program that improves children's physical fitness and literacy.
