Mayor David Miller, Minister of Culture Aileen Carroll and representatives from the Toronto Public Library Foundation and Toronto Public Library were on hand to kick off a fantastic fundraising initiative in support of the $34 million revitalization of the Toronto Reference Library.
Set to open in September of 2009, the 16,800 square foot Bram and Bluma Appel Salon at the Toronto Reference Library will provide premiere public space for cultural programming, civic discourse and community engagement at the heart of the city!
