From LA to NYC...

Back in NYC now but LA was great! I went to the Hollywood Awards Gala on Monday and it was incredible! With more than 1,200 people in attendance, the Beverly Hilton was packed with amazing energy. This is one of the first awards ceremonies that helps build the buzz for some key films. Last year it was ‘Milk’. Some tidbits from the event...

Sandra Bullock was really funny when she presented the "Hollywood Comedy Award" to Bradley Cooper. I think that Sandra is one of the great comedic actresses of our time. And yes, Bradley Cooper is that handsome in person.

The best speech of night was delivered by Nora Ephron, upon receiving the "Hollywood Screenwriter Award" Steven Spielberg presented it to her and it was amazing. I love so many of the films she has written, especially When Harry Met Sally, Silkwood and Heartburn.

It was really incredible to witness Robert De Niro winning the "Hollywood Actor Award". He is such an icon. Michael Bay, who presented the award for Visual Effects, came across as pretty charming. Kate Beckinsale was gorgeous and way taller than you'd expect. Hilary Swank is a true girl-next-door but looked stunning in her Oscar-worthy gown

Maria Bello, who definitely wore the best dress of the night, looked smashing alongside Father Rick. My highlight of the entire evening was hearing Father Rick's acceptance speech. He has dedicated his life to helping the underprivileged in Haiti and to be able to witness his true sincerity upon receiving such an honourable award was so special.

Loving New York, but I’ll be home soon enough!
XO Natasha
