The Sponsorhip Report

Really looking forward to the Strategic Sponsorship Marketing Summit next Tuesday. Mark Sabourin, the editor of the Sponsorship Report, is organizing the event and has asked me to present. He is really one of the most seasoned people in the area of sponsorship, and I am thrilled to be part of his event.

I am super excited to hear Mitch Grossbach speak. Mitch spent three years at FORD Models and was responsible for the expansion of FORD's Online Media Business. He now acts as the Chief Revenue Officer of Modelinia.com, where he is responsible for all third party strategic partnerships and business development initiatives. I just know that he will have a killer presentation.

I will be presenting a keynote speech with Baron Manett, Senior Vice President of Strategy at Ariad Custom Communications. He is unbelievably informative when it comes to the sponsorship landscape. He really just gets it.

There are lots of other great speakers and topics. I can't wait to hear what Rob Drynan from Camp Oochigeas has to say. Camp Ooch, a pediatric oncology camp, is an incredible charity, and was was the charity of choice for IT Lounge sponsors Kiehl's, J.Rox and Penny Protein Plan.

There are still a few tickets left, so head to http://www.sponsorship.ca/OCT2009agenda.html to check it out. Should be a super event.

Have a great weekend - See you at the Beautylicious Preview Event on Sunday at Hazelton Lanes!
